WiFi for UN Climate Change Conference Events
Max WiFi are leading WiFi providers for events across the globe. We have extensive experience in providing temporary WiFi for events, conferences and exhibitions around the globe – including those hosted in conjunction with the annual UN Climate Change Conference.

Event WiFi at COP26
At COP26 in Glasgow, Max WiFi provided internet connectivity for two large-scale events hosted in the city. This included the Climate Action Innovation Zone and a corporate event for a second high-profile client.
Climate Action’s Innovation Zone used state-of-the-art digital technology to connect an extensive digital audience from around the world. To support this, in addition to a live audience, Climate Action required a fast, reliable and high-density internet connection.
Using temporary fibre infrastructure, we deployed an infallible WiFi network to host live streams and CCTV coverage, as well as providing a secure internet connection for staff and attendees.
Attendees at the event included:
- National and local governments
- UN policy makers
- Non-governmental organisations (NGOs)
- Cleantech start-ups and scaleups
- Corporations
- Impact investors
- Press and media outlets
We also provided connectivity for a two-week long event hosted by a high-profile client. To enable the event to run smoothly, we provided a fast and reliable WiFi network throughout a Grade I listed building.
Testimonial from Climate Action, COP26
“Climate Action’s Innovation Zone at COP26 required a high-speed broadband network to be built on a brownfield site in Glasgow.
“Working with Brightstar to provide the connections (primary and secondary), Max Wi-Fi provided the WiFi networks for our live streams over the four days of the live event, CCTV coverage and high-speed WiFi for staff, crew and attendees.
“The team were always available in the lead up to provide advice and answer questions, and their onsite team were equally approachable and friendly. The network was perfect, with no complaints, which greatly contributed to the success of the event.”
