New event technology partners for Oceandiva London and Evolution London
Max WiFi are thrilled to have been selected by Smart Group to become the event technology provider for two amazing venues: Evolution London and Oceandiva London. Max WiFi are installing the new networks over the Summer and will be ready to welcome clients from early Autumn and we can’t wait to get started!
Oceandiva London 
Oceandiva London is a venue like no other. It is an 86m vessel capable of hosting up to 1500 guests, sustainably powered by two lithium batteries and solar panels, Oceandiva London is a carbon neutral event vessel and the first of it’s kind. This stunning and innovative venue will be hosting product launches, award ceremonies, charity events, exhibitions and private celebrations. To deliver these extravagant events, a strong network is required, but this is not easy on a moving venue. The latest, state-of-the-art cellular technology is being installed onto Oceandiva London which will provide continued 4G/5G connectivity as the vessel travels through London.
Evolution London
Evolution London, based in Battersea Park, plays host to a series of eye-catching awards ceremonies, product launches, exhibitions and televised events. This venue is a blank canvas with an 8m high ceiling which creates a few challenges for the design of our network. To deliver this, we will be installing over 30 WiFi 6 access points including external antennae APs to ensure maximum coverage at ground level. A 1Gbps fibre circuit will be installed providing strong bandwidth to the venue. This will allow Evolution London to host more events with high technological demands.
