Looking back on 2022
We are extremely proud of all that we accomplished in 2022. Among our achievements were securing new clients, expanding our team with skilled professionals, and even establishing a new company. As we begin a new year, we are grateful to look back on the opportunities and growth we experienced in the past year.
As a leading provider of WiFi solutions for the events industry, Max WiFi demonstrate excellence in delivering innovative and effective network solutions to a wide range of challenges. With more than two decades of experience in the field, last year our team was well-equipped to navigate even the most complex and demanding event sites and venues.
In 2022, we were pleased to welcome five new team members: Alex Horne, Matt Owen, Mark Fower, Oli Morrill, and Cameron Bond. These additions to our staff have helped us to reinforce our IT Support, engineering, and managed venues divisions, allowing us to better serve our clients and partners…
A new venture
Max WiFi Support
2022 began with the launch of Max WiFi Support. A brand new IT Managed Service Provider designed to support our event venue clients such as Tobacco Dock. Since the inception of MWS, we have secured IT support contracts with multiple new clients as we continue to build this promising new part of Max WiFi.
Live Events
2022 saw the full scale return of the LTA tennis tournaments as well as the first Hillhead Exhibition since 2018. Along with Frieze Art Fairs, these live events are part of a series of longstanding events we are proud to work on year in and year out!
In addition to these, we have taken on some fantastic new live events which include Financial Times Weekend Festival and Red Bull Hardline.
Continuing to deliver network excellence to venues, old and new
Managed Venues
In the Summer we agreed a fantastic new partnership with Smart Group to become the dedicated WiFi partner for two amazing venues: Evolution London and the trailblazing Oceandiva London.
These venues both required unique network designs and will each play host to a plethora of top events in 2023.
It was a busy year for our venue management work, in addition to the new partnerships with Evolution London and Oceandiva London, we installed a new enterprise network into Kings Place Music Foundation providing the venue with an events dedicated, high density WiFi solution. This led to Max WiFi Support winning the IT Support contract for the venue.
2023 is the 10 year anniversary of our partnership with Tobacco Dock London. This iconic venue brought Max WiFi onboard as key event wifi partner and we continue to deliver cutting edge WiFi solutions to all events that pass through its doors. We have recently upgraded Tobacco Dock to a fully WiFi 6 enabled venue with over 100 brand new access points installed.
Looking to 2023, we are excited to continue fostering our existing partnerships and exploring new opportunities to grow and thrive with new clients and partners. We look forward to a successful and productive year ahead!
